When Paul McDonald opened McDonald Building Company in April, 2010, he backed the company with nearly 25 years of professional experience planning and managing commercial construction programs.  After receiving a bachelors degree in Civil & Construction Engineering and an associates degree in Construction Technology from Temple University, Paul began his construction career as a Project Manager for a real estate development firm in Philadelphia.  He has since held various leadership roles at J. J. DeLuca Company, construction management firm in Springfield, Pa. - most notably Senior Vice President & Business Development before opening McDonald Building Company. 

Paul is active in local and national professional affiliations such as Carpenters Company of the City & County of Philadelphia, U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County, Delaware Valley Green Building Council (DVGBC), American Institute of Architects (AIA), National Trust for Historic Preservation, and Building Industry Association of Philadelphia (BIA).

He serves as a Board Member of Meadowood Retirement Community (Worcester, Pa) and is a Board of Trustees Member and Building Committee Member of Central Schwenkfelder Church (Worcester, Pa).
