McDonald Building Company is an environmentally conscious contractor and is on the cutting edge of sustainable design and construction methods. We have LEED Accredited Professionals on staff with the experience and knowledge necessary to guide our clients and architects in green design decisions. Even if your project is not seeking LEED Certification, we can still incorporate eco-friendly concepts into design and construction that can save you money on operating costs, improve comfort and productivity for the building occupants, and lessen the negative effects of the built environment.
To attain your green goals, MBC prefers that sustainability efforts be considered early on to mitigate costs and that they are applied each step of the way. Our LEED AP personnel will show you that building a LEED-certified structure does not mean compromising the financial viability of the project. Oftentimes it just means an alternate perspective and always promoting environmental responsibility along the value chain of sub-contractors, suppliers and customers.
